Video: #UN Human Rights Commissioner calls for investigation of Israeli War Crimes (#Israel #Gaza #Middleeast #politics #humanrights)

unhrcUN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, has called for an independent investigation into incidents which would constitute war crimes contrary to international humanitarian law.

We have been calling for world leaders to condemn the crimes of the Zionist government in Israel, and as yet they have done nothing but make vague comments about Israel’s right to defend itself.

Thank goodness that the UN has taken the lead and is taking action to further investigate these obvious crimes.

As we have pointed out recently, Netanyahu has publicly admitted that Zionist forces have targeted building which they know will result in civilian casualties. This is illegal under international humanitarian law and constitutes war crime – the law is very clear and there are no ‘get out clauses’.

It remains to be seen how far the investigation into these crimes will go, but hopefully those repsonsible will be brought to task to answer for their atrocities – at last.
