It seems that any notion of peace left Obama and his administration a long time ago. Despite efforts of other nations, Obama seems intent on bringing the world to (at least) the brink of World War Three though his aggressive stance on Syria and the Middle East.
Ignoring the UN and a majority of the rest of the world, Obama is intent on arming the Syrian rebel faction (which includes al-Qaeda) based on the extremely dubious ‘evidence’ of US intelligence agencies that the Assad regime has used the nerve agent sarin. Yet he is purposely ignoring strong evidence that the rebel faction has used sarin against civilians, as well as other irrefutable evidence of their other atrocities.
The so-called ‘evidence’ presented by the US has failed to meet international standards set by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) – an independent international organisation which sets the standards and protocols needed to verify any evidence of a nation’s use of chemical weapons. The USA are well aware of these standards of evidence.
Both Russia and the UN doubt that the ‘evidence’ presented by the US is genuine.
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the evidence shown to Russia by the US does not meet the international standards of the OPCW.
UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon warned the US against arming the Syrian rebels based on the alleged ‘evidence’ because the chain own ownership of the alleged chemical weapons was not established. Ban Ki-moon also told reporters that “There is no military solution to this conflict, even if both the government and the opposition, and their supporters, think there can be,” sending a clear message to the US, and continued “The military path points directly towards the disintegration of the country.”
Information provided by other nations and international organisations which prove that arming the Syrian rebels is a bad move seems to have been ignored by Obama. He and his administration have been determined to contribute to the strife of millions of civilians in Syria and surrounding countries so that the region remains in an unstable state.
Rather than seeking a peaceful solution, or examining the real evidence, Obama et al appear to have been waiting for an opportune moment to step up their support of the rebel faction.
It was revealed in the Washington Post that US officials were ordered by Obama in late April to plan which weaponry to send to the rebels and how to deliver it– long before the supposed intelligence ‘evidence’ materialised.
There was never any intention of the US to help find a diplomatic solution to the conflict, and it is proven that the CIA have been involved in stirring up opposition to Assad, and in ensuring the opposition council refused to take part to any negotiation process.
Diplomatic dialogue could have started many months ago, but Obama and his supporters have taken no initiative to pursue this.
The planned peace talks between the Syrian opposition and the Assad regime were effectively sabotaged by the opposition through a series of unreasonable demands, and later abandoned by the US administration citing that the rebels were in too weak a position to gain any meaningful conclusion from the negotiations.
Obama is engaging in a war by proxy, and playing a very dangerous game which could pit the super powers of the world against each other.
The involvement of the US has been the subject of concern for many nations who have sought to find a peaceful solution to the Syrian problem.
Stories fed to the mainstream media by Washington and London – which are mainly based on rhetoric and dubious ‘facts’ – have been exposed numerous times in the alternative (and surprisingly, some of the mainstream) media as being false – basically lies.
As the conflict continues, media support for the arming of the Syrian rebels is waning, with some mainstream journalists starting to question the real reasons for the US and its allies supporting a disorganised, barbaric, and terrorist organisation such as the FSA.
In the US and the UK, there has been significant criticism from public and politicians of the way Obama and Cameron have pledged support for a brutal and disorganised opposition that has significant links to al-Qaeda and other extremist organisations, the very organisations the US and UK are said to be fighting in the ‘war on terror’.
The so-called ‘war on terror’ has been used as an excuse to establish (or continue) mass surveillance programmes which have the potential to collect data on every person on the planet.
Without the Middle-East conflict, it would be extremely difficult for governments to justify the resources allocated to, and the extent of, their mass surveillance programmes.
Using the excuse of ‘terrorism’, the PRISM programme, GCHQ, the NSA and secret services of the UK have received massive increases in budgets this year to expand the network of surveillance against ordinary citizens. Either this is extreme paranoia, or something far more sinister.
But Obama, Cameron and the other cronies are not having everything their own way.
Despite controlling most of the mainstream media through mutually beneficial ‘arrangements’, legal controls, and feeding them the information they want the public to be aware of, there has been a massive rise in international alternative media sharing verifiable information about the truth.
People ‘on the ground’ have written about various conflicts, shared videos, and communicated with each other, asking questions the mainstream media dare not.
It is interesting that many major figures in news reporting and politics (such as Larry King) are turning more and more to alternative media to air the truth without the restrictions of the politics of editors and media moguls who are inevitably connected to the political system in some way or another.
This could be an addition reason (apart from trying to legitimise their possibly illegal surveillance programmes) that the US and UK in particular have tried to pass legislation this year which would give them immense control over the internet, both from a surveillance and content blocking perspective.
The acceleration in policies and laws being implemented which restrict people’s rights and seek to gain control through oppressive policing is an indication that they are very worried about the citizens of their countries acting against the implementation of Big Brother global economic slavery.
Unlucky for Obama, Cameron and others that more and more people are opening their eyes to the truth of these warmongers, and in time they will pay the price for their actions. At the moment they think they are untouchable and maintain their positions in their ivory towers through the use of fear. But that will not last forever, and the people WILL take action against them and they (and their kind) will fall into a hell they have created for themselves.
The fact is, that we currently have some of the most evil (if not downright psychopathic) leaders in the history of world politics trying to control world events.
